He has been engaged in the research of lower limb and ankle biomechanics, sports equipment and ergonomics, human bone and muscle simulation, digital twin and medical engineering modeling. He is currently presiding over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Ningbo Natural Science Foundation, Ningbo University “Mechanics +” Interdisciplinary Top-notch Innovative Youth Fund, and a number of Badminton World Federation (BWF) scientific research and innovation projects, and has participated in a number of key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC), Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST), and key projects of Zhejiang Province (ZJP). He has participated as a key member in a number of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key R&D of Ministry of Science and Technology, and Key R&D of Zhejiang Province.
