The Faculty of Sports Science Ningbo University is a disciplinary college under Ningbo University, a “Double First-Class” university in China. It has a doctoral degree program and a center for post-doctoral studies in the first-level discipline of Sports Science, a master’s degree program in the first-level discipline of Sports Science, a specialized master’s degree program in Sports Science. The Physical Education and Sports Training majors have been selected as the national first-class undergraduate major construction points, and ranked 11th and 13th respectively in the ShanghaiRanking’s China University Major Ranking 2023. The discipline of Sports Science was rated as Grade B in the fifth round of national discipline assessment. The Faculty ranked in the range of 201-300 in the “ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments 2023”, and ranked the 4th in China.
