Work Experience: Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Young Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education, currently Dean of the School of Physical Education and Sport of Ningbo University, also Vice Chairman of the China Disabled Sports Development Committee, Standing Committee of the Sports Biomechanics Branch of the Chinese Society of Sports Science, Honorary Professor of the University of Auckland in New Zealand, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom, Senior Biomechanics Consultant of Anta (China) Co. He led the establishment of the China-Central and Eastern European University Sports Education and Research Alliance, and guided his student Shi Zhiyong to break the world record in weightlifting and win the first Olympic gold medal in the history of the university. His main research fields are sports biomechanics and sports equipment research and development. In recent years, he has published more than 300 research papers in Sports Science, Journal of Biomechanics and other high-level journals at home and abroad, and has published three academic monographs and one nationally edited textbook. He has undertaken 2 sub-topics of the National Key Research and Development Program “Science and Technology for Winter Olympics”, 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 sub-topic of the National Philosophy and Social Science Major Bidding Project, 1 project of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Research and Development Program, 1 project of the Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Young People's Fund, and more than 10 major transverse projects, and the funding for scientific research has exceeded 20 million yuan. He has more than 20 million RMB in research projects. He is the editor-in-chief of Physical Activity and Health, the first Scopus (Q1) journal in Ningbo University, the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, and the editor-in-chief of the core journals such as Chinese Sports Science and Technology, Medical Biomechanics, etc. He has also worked as the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Technology. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of the SCI source journal International Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, and as the editorial board member of the core journals of China Sports Science and Technology and Medical Biomechanics. He has been selected as a good cadre of Zhejiang Province in 2022, a leading talent of Zhejiang Province universities, and the first level of Ningbo Leading and Top-notch Talent Project. He was awarded the Second Prize of Science and Technology of the Chinese Society of Sports Science in 2018, the Second Prize of Teaching Achievements of Graduate Students of Zhejiang Province in 2019, the Second Prize of Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Science of Zhejiang Province in 2021, and the Science and Technology Progress Award of Ningbo City, and many other awards.
