Professional development history:
Physical education major traces its origin to the former Physical Education Department of Ningbo Teachers College, which first recruited physical education students in 1985 and began to recruit undergraduate physical education students in 1994; physical education was approved as a national characteristic specialty by the Ministry of Education in 2010, and approved as a key specialty construction project of Zhejiang Province in 2012, and approved as an advantageous specialty of Zhejiang Province in 2016, and was certified as a second-level specialty of teacher education by the Ministry of Education in 2020, and was selected as a national first-class undergraduate specialty construction site in 2023. In 2020, it will pass the certification of the second level of teacher training in general colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, and in 2020, it will be selected as a national first-class undergraduate major construction point, and in 2023, it will be selected as a brand major construction point in Ningbo. Deeply integrating with Ningbo University's Institute of Great Health, and jointly researching and formulating new professional training programs and teaching plans.
